 POSITION SUMMARY

This role will be in charge of materials and production planning of a group of products. The candidate is expected to use local and global ERP systems, communicate frequently and effectively with related local and global functions, deliver key KPI’S, do effective inventory management and prepare and share reports.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

•       Manage raw material planning for assigned products to optimize inventory and meet production requirements.

•       Analysis on stock build, excess, shortage for portfolio of raw material and products.

•       Following the raw material and material stocks,

•        Prepare short-middle and long term production plans and following results,

•        Create and publish a master production plan, material requirements plan, and detailed production schedule based on the supply plan.

•       Analyze capacity planning of production lines.

•       Providing coordination between the relevant units during the implementation of the production planning,

•       Ensuring that the weekly planning of the production lines of the facilities are made efficiently,

•       Create weekly, monthly reports.

•       Work closely with internal departments (Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, QA, QC).

•       Contribute to key performance indicators such as line item fill rate, inventory days of supply (DOS), inventory turnover etc.

Candidates are expected to have the following qualifications and skills: 

•       University Degree, preferably in Industrial Engineering or Chemical Engineering, or other Engineering graduates

•       Solid analytical and organizational skills with the ability to establish consensus between functions and operations 

•       Knowledge of Supply Chain systems, ERP/MRP, forecasting systems (SAP, DP, APO, ECC, BOBJ (BI) Supply Chain Digitization, etc.)

•       Strong skills in MS Office® Suite, especially Excel, is required. Usage of MS Access is an asset.

•       Excellent command of both written and spoken Turkish and English

•       Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills 

•       Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment

•       Willingness and potential for learning and development

EXPERIENCE 

•       Minimum 3 years working experience in Supply Chain related fields (planning, scheduling, procurement or demand management) with at least 2 years experience in material and production and material planning role, preferably the pharmaceutical / chemical industry

•       Proven experience working in a complex matrix organization

•       Strong communication skills
