GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering departments,
• Minimum B Class Legal Occupational Safety Expert Certificate,
• Minimum 5 years of experience on HSE,
• Having a NEBOSH certificate is an asset,
• Familiar with ISO 14000, OHSAS 18000 and ISO 45000,
• Able to use MS Office programs effectively,
• English – Advanced level,
• Experience of team management,
• Strong communication skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Ensure the implementation of HSE Policy in the site,
• Ensure regulatory compliance of the Site with local HSE legislation ,
• Set up and manage the risk management systems. Perform Process Safety, Occupational Hygiene, Machine Safety, Environmental and Workplace risk assessments,
• Set up and manage incident and incident investigation processes,
• Implement and co-ordinate the internal HSE audit process. Participate in external audits,
• Manage the environmental risks such as waste management, air emissions, waste water and carbon foot print,
• Manage the HSE training processes and prepare annual training plan,
• Co-ordinate the site HSE Management review meetings with Site Leadership Team. Execute the responsibilities of site according to lawful and ethical standard,
• Manage the documentation of health, safety and environment management systems (OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001),
• Provide HSE trainings to employees and contractors,
• Follow up health, safety and environment activities at the site,
• Ensure control of  Key Safety Elements at the site (fire fighting equipments and systems, emergency exits, machine guarding and interlocks, process safety equipments etc.),
• Support and evaluate  the new projects regarding HSE,
• Prepare investment and expense budget. Implement projects accordingly,
• Provide technical support to production and other departments,
• Support and develop the energy saving programs and implement then accordingly,
• Ensure compliance with the local security legislation applicable to the Site as well as Sanofi rules and procedures related to Security,
• Manage Security Team of the site.
