Job Title: Yacht Shipyard Project Coordinator

Overview: As a Yacht Shipyard Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating various aspects of yacht construction within our shipyard. 

You will oversee the project from inception to completion, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with team members, clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Communication and Relationship Management:
   • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or requests.
   • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
   • Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and preferences, incorporating feedback into project plans as needed.
   • Managing the project construction and design logs.

2. Team Coordination:
   • Coordinate activities among internal departments, to ensure smooth project execution.
   • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication among all stakeholders.

3. Quality Assurance and Compliance:
   • Ensure that all work performed meets regulatory requirements, industry standards, and client specifications.
   • Implement corrective actions to address any deviations from quality standards, working closely with team members to resolve issues promptly.
   • Monitoring the project schedule and millstones.

Qualifications:

• High level of English, written and spoken.
• Proven experience in project management, preferably within the yacht construction or shipyard industry.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Knowledge of yacht construction techniques, materials, and regulations is highly desirable - is a plus.
• Proficiency in Office and project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera, is preferred - is a plus.
