Senior Energy Engineer

Arup is one of the world top engineering and consultancy firms. We are seeking an Senior Energy Engineer for our İstanbul Office to strengthen our Energy Team.

• Bachelor degree in Electrical/Electrical Electronics, Energy Systems or Mechanical Engineering from reputable universities, 
• Master degree in Energy field is preferable, 
• Excellent command of English both written and verbal, 
• At least 10 years of design and advisory experience in renewable energy (especially solar and /or wind power plants) projects in Türkiye or abroad, 
• Professional experience in technical due diligence services is a plus, 
• Working experience in multinational and English-speaking environment, 
• Ability to interface and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, 
• Effective communication and presentation skills, 
• Team player, result-oriented with strong planning and organization skills, 
• Ability to develop and maintain good relationship with the clients, willing to grow in an international environment, 
• Excellent knowledge of Turkish and International energy codes, regulations and processes, 
• Motivated, initiative, interested in technical topics, 
• Available to work flexible hours, 
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, windPRO, PVSyst or similar applications, 
• No travel restrictions (national & international), 
• For male candidates military service must be completed. 

 
JOB DESCRIPTION 

The Energy group works with public and private clients in a variety of energy projects. The successful candidate will be able to work under the supervision of senior leaders and will be responsible for the following: 

• To prepare designs, drawings, calculations, and BoQs, 
• To prepare calculations and reports in concept, preliminary, and detail design stages in one of the energy discipline areas, 
• To prepare technical due diligence and energy yield assessment reports, 
• To identify and understand customer’s needs according to the technical specifications provided, 
• To carry out and assist the proposal preparation process, 
• Supporting business development and maintaining client relationships
• To maintain technical interaction with all project team members and external consultants to deliver projects on time and to budget with quality output.
