Raw Material Management Specialist

We are looking for a "Raw Material Management Specialist" to be assigned at the Halkalı location of our company. 

General Qualifications:

• Graduated from engineering departments of universities, preferably from Metallurgical and Materials Engineering departments,
• 4 years of experience in the field such as purchasing, raw material planning etc,
• Preferably worked in purchasing roles in the steel production industry,
• Fluent in English is a must,
• High analytical ability, well-developed coordination skills, result oriented
• Well-developed negotiation skills and persuasion, proactive, prone to teamwork

Job description

• Receiving offers for materials, products, and services in line with the technical specifications to be requested, comparing offers in terms of technical and cost, Procuring raw material purchases according to the price agreed by the sales team with the customer and the terms of the agreement,
• Making detailed analyzes and reporting in order to contribute to the formation of the general strategy for steel pipe raw material purchases.
• Ensuring the feeding of the production line by taking urgent actions in raw material crises
• In case of missing, unsuitable quality, or damaged goods, carrying out the process in coordination with the relevant units such as Supply Chain, Foreign Trade, and Quality and following up the compensation processes to be requested from the supplier,
• Taking actions to ensure supplier selection, evaluation, and continuity.
