Job Definition

• We are looking for a System Administrator to install, upgrade, maintain and manage various systems, databases, and network both on premise and cloud.
• You should be able to manage servers, diagnose, and resolve problems. You should also have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users.
• Your goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role
• Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
• Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms including Linux
• Experience in virtualization platforms (Oracle VM, VMWare, Hyper-V)
• Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems, firewall)
• Preferred Knowledge on databases (Oracle, MSSQL)
• Experience for backup/recovery and replication technologies
• Analyze and resolve operating systems and applications issues on various systems
• Install and configure systems infrastructure both on premise and cloud.
• Manage network, servers and technology tools
• Troubleshoot issues and outages
• Upgrade/migrate operating systems with new releases and migrate servers physical to virtual
• To operate, and maintain production, test and development servers, virtualization environments and associated storage systems
• Design and implement monitoring systems and procedures for 7/24 uptime requirements of extremely critical systems
• Ensure security levels across all servers through configuration and regular patch management of both the operating system and application
• Analyze and optimize performance of systems, eliminate bottlenecks, plan for capacity upgrades
• Perform data integrity checks and harden security of systems along with audits and procedures
• Ability to work independently on all assigned projects and proactive in troubleshooting problems
• Involved in all phases of product development life cycle includes design, develop, testing, debugging & customer support
• Good verbal and communication skills
