Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from engineering departments (preferably Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering).
• Minimum 4 years of process experience in manufacturing area (wind blade manufacturing experience is plus).
• Preferably, have a lean six sigma green belt certification.
• Having knowledge in time and motion studies & mini-tab.
• Act as a strong data analyst.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English.
  

Essential Responsibilities:

The main purpose of the Lead Material Performance Management Engineer is to devise, organize, utilize and monitor systems to analyze efficiencies across all plants to determine Best in Class performers in Materials.

• Evaluate plants on a material consumption and contributing factors (MRL, TRL) in order to determine Best in Class.
• Track, measure, and improve the plants & recommend the ideal usage for consumption.
• Lead projects to help plant achieve Best in Class level by studying other plants and working on agile temporarywork groups.
• Production data support of material consumption.
• Perform BOM analysis, Consumption study in order to gain deep insight into the “why” behind material usage in the plants.
• Ensure data quality, analyze gaps to Best in Class, and aid in closing those gaps.
• Determine precise, detailed Operations Research studies of the Best in Class plants and how to apply these learnings to other plants’ gaps.
• Work in close co-operation with internal stakeholders such as factory management, stakeholders from multiple plants, project teams, global manufacturing engineering, engineering and the cost-out council.
