As Gram Equipment Turkey, we are looking for an Automation Hardware Engineer for our factory which is in Aegean Free Zone, Gaziemir – İzmir.

Qualifications and Job description

• Good knowledge of  frequency converters and servo systems
• Good knowledge of pneumatic systems is an asset
• A bachelor degree within Electric or Electronics Engineering is required
• Experience in ERP systems (Business central is prefered) and the understanding of BOMstructures will be an asset
• Knowledge of Process Automation and field tools is an asset
• Capable of Project analysis, selecting electrical panels and materials
• The desire to take ownership of the complete electrical machine design
• Good knowledge of Excell will be an asset
• Allen Bradley Brand experience will be an asset
• High level of English (both spoken and written)
• At least 2 years of experience in electrical panel design
• International mindset
• Living in İzmir
• No restriction on travel

Tasks

• Hardware design of control panels according to DS / EN 60204-1
• Select suitable electrical components in cooperation with the mechanical engineers
• Ordering Electrical Panels and Coordinating with subsuppliers
• Generating electrical / automation BOM in ERP system
• Continous communication with Automation Hardware team on technical clarifications
• Preparation of electrical documentation
• Supporting the electrical assembly team of the machines in the Production and the supervisors on site
• Supporting the software engineers loading software packages into the machines
