Responsibilities

- Product requirements, assists with the elaboration of epics, themes and writing user stories and developing the acceptance criteria.
- Serves as the voice of the customer to the agile team and sets the quality standard for delivery according to the acceptance criteria.
- Works with a Cross-functional Team to understand business cases and business goals in order to execute on the vision.
- Partners with and serves as a liaison between Product Management, IT, other internal partners and external vendors to ensure products are meeting customer objectives and also aligned to company goals and technology standards.
- Monitors key performance indicators within owned Products to evaluate product performance and growth.
- Initiate the product development process based on roadmaps and UX designs as inputs.
- Works with scrum teams to execute sprint goals. Play a key part of development events including planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, team retrospectives and daily scrum.
- Closely collaborates with the scrum team to support the needs of the team. Provides process improvement feedback to the team and the Managers with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Actively engages with the scrum team to collaborate/negotiate and commit to product priorities for specific customer needs.
- Creates, maintains, and prioritizes the product backlog according to business priorities and overall product strategy.
- Engaging with scrum teams to clarify requirements working closely with software engineers.
- Evaluates the product progress at the end of every sprint and accepts or rejects completed stories and tasks based on the set expected criteria.
- Communicates project status to the Managers and selects internal stakeholders, emphasizing and tracking the business value being delivered.
- Protects the team from internal and external factors that distracts from sprint goals.
- Manages prioritization of customer found defects and works with teams to ensure proper resourcing and scheduling to resolve them.

Qualifications

- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline with 4 or more years related professional experience.
- Experience with designing web, mobile web and mobile app solutions.
- Awareness and experience with Agile techniques: Epics/Features/Stories, Burndown Retrospectives, etc.
- Possess effective interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building.
- Possess in-depth knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish/maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence.
- Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience in using appropriate tools/methodologies: Agile Project Management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Miro etc., Microsoft Project, Visio, and all Office Tools, Scrum.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and IT individuals at all levels.
- Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the "big picture" view.
- Adjusts to changing priorities and circumstances quickly and demonstrates ability to make quick decisions.
- Previous working experience as a Senior Product Owner is a plus.
