As a Hyundai Motor Group company, we are handling logistics, shipping, warehousing, packaging, material and stock management operations globally and we are looking for a  " Freight Forwarding Operation Assistant Manager " to assign at our İstanbul / TURKEY office with below mentioned qualifications.  

. Minimum 3 years of experience directly handling Ocean, Road, Air, Rail shipments within a freight forwarder company required.

· Commitment to excellent customer service, in support of both external and internal customers, utilizing effective communication and follow-up skills.

· Previous experience using Soft ERP system is preferred.

· A bachelor's degree in logistics or business is preferred.

· Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment at all levels of the organization, or work independently with little or no supervision, to achieve results.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs Word and Excel etc.

· Have an excellent attitude to learn and develop in all areas of the freight industry – Essential

· Have experience in initial set up of Air Logistics Business (IATA)

Job Description

· Coordinate and manage Export & Import and domestic shipments from origin to destination, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.

· Liaise with customers, suppliers, and carriers to arrange shipping schedules, and handle all necessary documentation.

· Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.

· Prepare and process shipping and customs documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and export/import declarations.

· Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, customs requirements, and trade compliance policies.

· Track and monitor shipments, providing regular updates to customers and stakeholders on the status of their cargo.

· Collaborate and support sales team, identify areas for improvement and address efficient solutions.

· Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and changes in regulations that may impact freight forwarding operations.
