Responsibilities:

•Development of Microservices (Rest APIs) for common or banking solutions

•Integration of consumers functional requirements developed by applications with server side logic

•Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code

•Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications

•Implementation of security and data protection

•Integration of data storage solutions 

Skills:

•Strong proficiency with JavaScript and TypeScript.

•Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it.

•For example - Express or StrongLoop or any other JavaScript framework.

•Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds.

•Experience in following best coding standards and practices like linters, static code analyzers etc.

•User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments

•Excellent knowledge of developing software by following all the important security guidelines likesql-injection,xss,csrf etc.

•Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application

•Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system

•Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes for SQL/NoSQL databases but not limited to: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDBetc

•Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.

•Working knowledge of modern ops technologies – monitoring, log aggregation ,alerting ,service discoveretc

•Deep knowledge in Microservices

•Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such asGit

•Basic knowledge in DevOps (knowledge in Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins andOpenShift)

•Experience in functional programming and practical experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or any major cloud providers)

•Experience in Agile methodology
