Financial & Pricing Analyst

Bunzl plc is a multinational distribution and outsourcing company headquartered in London which operates across America, Europe and Asia Pacific and supports businesses all over the world with a variety of products that are essential for our customers in food service grocery, safety, cleaning & hygiene retail and healthcare markets.

The candidate will work for İstanbul Ticaret which was acquired byBunzl Group in May 2015.

Business is made up of two companies mainly Safety and Hardware. İstanbul Ticaret is the distributor of worldwide brands such as 3M, Ansell, Du Pont, Stanley, and Henkel as a market leader with around 100 employees in all over Turkey.

Qualifications

• Graduate  degree  in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial/Management Engineering, Mathematics or MIS
• 1-3 years of work experience in controlling / finance area
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• Advanced knowledge in MS Office Applications & Oracle HFM, and in local and international accounting principles (IFRS)
• Technical skills in managing large data sets, queries and designing different type of reports;
• High analytical skills, structured way of thinking and working, problem solver & self-initiator
• Social competence & teamwork ability
• Able to work with tight deadlines
• Big 4 experience is a plus

Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for creating financial models that can predict the outcome of certain business decisions and will play a crucial role in pulling together the information required to make these decisions and to develop new strategies. The role owner will also be responsible for other financial reporting and controlling tasks such as monthly reporting and performance management.

Pricing:

• Analyzing competitor pricing matched with market expectations to determine the ideal target price for products of the business.
• Working with the sales and marketing team to define pricing structure for company products
• Preparing day to day brand and product based margin & price analysis
• Testing pricing functionality  for new products
• Recommending pricing adjustments that will support business objectives and plans 

Monthly Financial Closing Reporting and Financial Planning:

• Assist in preparing monthly closing reports, conducting financial analysis & tracking KPIs, preparation of all necessary ad hoc reports and early warning indicators
• Assist in preparation of budget creation, tracking and release and provide business support to departments with overhead budget and investment issues
• Communicate with the peers in sales, purchasing and marketing teams to extract all necessary data to ensure that proper financial decisions are made.
