Social Media Specialist

To join the MSC Group, we are looking for a "Social Media Specialist" who can work with us at the MSC Shipping Agency "İstanbul Zincirlikuyu Office". We are waiting for your application too!


What does a Social Media Specialist do?

  • Developing the annual/monthly social media plans for the company
  • Keeping related templates updated for use on digital media platforms
  • Creating social media concepts competent with brand identity
  • Supporting the coordination of photoshoots for operations, fields, employees, and events and archiving them for use in company advertising materials and media outlets as needed
  • Preparing content for social media platforms
  • Collaborating with the communications team to create a social media calender
  • Coordinating with relevant departments to collect information for planned social and digital posts
  • Monitoring website updates, conducting campaigns to increase visibility, and providing ad-hoc and quarterly reports based on the analysis of shared posts
  • Assist in creation and editing of written video and photo content for social media platforms
  • Monitor social media channels for industry trends
  • Taking an active role in all tasks related to the working field and fulfilling the requirements

    We are looking for candidates with the following background;


    • Bachelor’s degree in related field. Master’s degree in Communications, Humanities or Social / Administrative Sciences is a plus
    • Minimum 4 years of experince in corporate communications, digital marketing, brand and marketing communications either in Marketing/PR/ Digital or Creative Agancy or an Internal Marcom Department
    • Strong copy editing and copywriting skills in Turkish and English
    • Proficient knowledge of SEM, SEO, Google Ads, Google Analytics and MS Office Programs
    • Knowledge and interest in Photography, Image Adjustments and Social Media
    • Proficiency with video or photo editing tools on digital media
    • B2B Communication and Content Editorial Skills
    • Creative, highly motivated
    • Strong verbal, interpersonal communication, organization and teamwork skills
    • Advanced presentation skills, high representation skills
    • Having planning, follow-up and coordination skills
    • Written and oral fluency in English

    More than 4 years of experience
