Reporting to: Flow Control Systems Global Technical Manager

Main Interactions with: Sales Team, Technical Team (Mainly Metallurgical & Material Engineers)

Travelling: Up to 80% of time around the world.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Shop Test of Project Equipment at Manufacturing Site, Belgium.

• Installation, Supervision and Commissioning of Project Equipment at Customer Sites including Planning Project Meetings with Customer and Sub Contractors, follow-up cabling/wiring/IO test/support of other site automation activities.

• Operation and Maintenance Training.

• Optimization of the regulation.

• Technical Reporting to the Project Manager to complete the Commissioning up to a Proper Customer Acceptance and Satisfaction.

• Technical Feedback and sharing of the field experiences for the continuous improvement of the Product and of the Customer Satisfaction.

• Provide a level of Customer Support that enhances the relationship with the Customer and increases the Company profile.

• Ensure that all activities are performed with due regard to the health and safety standards applicable to the activity.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Automation Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering.

• 3 to 7 years of industrial experience.

• The motivation/ability to learn the detailed aspects of the installation and operation of our Systems.

Technical skills

• Knowledge and basic experience in electricity (low voltage).

• Knowledge and basic experience in PLC programming and in regulation (PID).

• PLC Hardware Configuration & Software Programming (Siemens S7 / TIA)

• HMI Programming (TIA WinCC TPxxx series)

• Expert in understanding and validating electrical drawings. Ability to supervise subcontractors in the wiring and cabling process.

• Good knowledge in Automation Field instrumentation: Sensors, actuators, IO checks

• Basic knowledge in Mechanics, Hydraulics & Pneumatics Design. Understanding functionalities and operations.

• Good knowledge in Machine, Process and People safety: Machine directives (2006/42/CE), Robot safety, Safety functions.

• Autonomous and result oriented: Responsibility to conduct Engineering and Commissioning in line with Technical and Project requirements.

• Good communication to enable proper collaboration with different stakeholders involved in a Project frame.

• Practical approach and hands on capability to enable proper troubleshooting.

• Flexibility in the activities scheduling and approach of working hours.

• Leadership to Manage and Lead Activities and Sub-contractors at Site.

• Conversant in English with good communication skills.
