A fantastic opportunity is available for an Assistant Brand Manager to join our Marketing Team!


This role is responsible to drive brand NR, market share and GM growth whilst supporting the development of effective category/ brand management initiatives. As an integral member of an experienced and dynamic Marketing team, you will continuously track progress of KPI’s via internal financial reporting and external data analysis. As ABM, you will build and maintain strong relationships across various departments to ensure your brand/ category objectives are met and also collaborate with key stakeholders, in order to accomplish goals and objectives of the team and business.

 

Job Description

 

  • Supporting marketing plans & manage marketing budgets for a given brand within category to deliver net revenue, gross margin, market share and profit targets within timescales and budget as approved by local leadership team
  • Providing regular brand tracking information to monitor market performance, brand performance against KPI’s, budget tracking
  • Developing and executing annual marketing plan activities, including local media strategy / plans for a given brand within a category, responsible for ensuring successful implementation of the plan.
  • In close co-operation with the Trade Marketing function, identify trade needs / opportunities, develop pricing and distribution strategies in line with trade promotions for brands
  • Supporting the execution of product launches agreed by Area/Region; Contribute to innovation by delivering product development programs to further margin growth.
  • Supporting implementation of portfolio strategy in conjunction with global category and area innovation to support overall business strategy, short / medium term;
  • Managing development and activation of local brands
  • Supporting market copy strategy for brand and ensure adaption possible for category across area
  • Partnering with media / consumer and market insights to implement media strategy and plans

 

Is this You?

 

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Industrial Engineering of reputable universities
  • FMCG marketing experience of at least 1 year is a plus
  • Strong sense of urgency and achievement
  • Independent with the ability to take initiative and ownership
  • Very strong presentation and communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and relationship management with various stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills and basic understanding of P&L and financial statements
