We are currently seeking a dynamic Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Executive to join our team at Rönesans Energy. This position will be based at our Ankara Head Office and will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of safety and environmental compliance, particularly in alignment with partnership requirements with Total Energy.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a University's Engineering Faculty.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant safety experience, preferably in the energy sector, encompassing wind power plants, hydroelectric power plants, solar power plants, etc., in both construction and operation phases.
- Holding internationally recognized certificates such as NEBOSH IGC, OSHA, or equivalent certifications (C / B Grade local certification is essential).
- Proficiency in ISO 45001 systems and possession of an ISO 45001 internal auditor certificate is essential.
- Demonstrated international best practices experience.
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Willingness and ability to travel nationally with minimal advance notice.
- Proficient in conducting and leading incident investigations and root cause analysis.
- Experience in commissioning and operations.
- Adaptable with the ability to make quick decisions.
- Strong organizational and research skills.
- Completion of military obligations for male candidates.
- Highly organized, a team player, proactive, and results-oriented.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to develop and maintain cooperation and teamwork while leading a group of people.
Job Description
- Manage and support the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Health and Safety aspects of the company's HSE Management System. Ensure that the goals and requirements of the Company's HSE Policy and associated Corporate Procedures are achieved in all activities.
- Communicate and contribute to the development of policies and programs, assist in conducting audits and onsite inspections, and analyze data to provide recommendations for process and program improvements.
- Monitor the effective implementation of appropriate Health, Safety, and Environmental System procedures and provide for their updating in line with changes in Legislation and Company Directives.
- Track, interpret, and evaluate proposed and final safety-related legislation/rules. Determine impacts and compliance strategies.
- Develop audit programs and lead or participate in periodic reviews or audits of operating company compliance with safety and applicable regulatory requirements. Inform and advise management regarding compliance status, issues, potential risks, and liabilities. Provide accident/incident trend analyses, insights into future impacts from new laws and rules, recommended actions, and risk management strategies.
