QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

In order to sustain this power, we are looking for a new teammate as Material Planning and Purchasing Generalist in Çerkezköy or Bolu Plant, reporting to Purchasing and Logistics Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration
- Fluent in English
- Proficiency in MS Office programs
- Experience in SAP MM module is a plus
- Experience in glass, automotive or white goods industry is a plus
- Experience in material planning and purchasing is a plus
- Residence or willing to reside in Tekirdağ (Çerkezköy, Çorlu, ) or Bolu
- Valid drivers license is a must
- No domestic or international travel restrictions
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Ensure all requirements are supplied in a timely manner by securing the quality and cost
- Search for new suppliers and evaluate relevant prices
- Participate in the process of supplier evaluation, management and improvement
- Prepare monthly KPI reports and follow related corrective actions
- Manage optimum material planning
- Optimize purchasing according to stock aim
- Sustain optimum stock level for materials
- Managing tender bids in indirect goods
- Take active role in SCHOTT global projects
