We are looking for a "EPC Purchasing Specialist"  Purchasing Department in Kavacık, İstanbul

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering from reputable universities,
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the EPC (Engineering Procurement Construction) sector, especially in Solar farm projects,
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken,
• Proficient in MS Office applications, especially in Excel, Autocad and SAP ERP,
• Excellent supplier contract knowledge,
• Leadership capability – ability to engage, inspire and manage accountability,
• Good negotiation skill with internal cross-functional teams,
• High standards of accuracy, proficiency at working with strict deadlines and under pressure, and ability to prioritize tasks,
• Self-disciplined, proactive, dynamic, eager to learn and to take on new challenges,
• Team player, result-oriented with strong planning and organization skills,
• Flexibility in working hours and no travel restrictions,
• For male candidates, military service must be completed,
• Resides in the Anatolian/ Europe side of Istanbul.

  JOB DESCRIPTION

•  Ensuring timely purchase to support Power Plants,
• Perform supplier evaluation and selection as per Smart Energy standards and sourcing strategy,
• Generating procurement projects according to strategic sourcing initiative process and detailed plans for execution,
• Following up on progress and implementation of procurement projects,
• Performing purchase price analysis, understand volume & technic specifications, and coordinating them with stakeholders such as planning, R&D, Quality, Production,
•  Preparing purchase orders, solicit bid proposals, and review requisitions for goods and services,
• Write and review product specifications, maintaining a working technical knowledge of the goods or services to be purchased,
• Developing more sources for supplies and negotiate the price, ensure the delivery and that the quality meets company requirements,
• Developing supplier partnerships to identify and develop ongoing total cost reductions,
• Negotiating and managing the contract process,
• Optimization of all logistics processes and cost control,
• Working proactively to improve, review and implement standard processes and procedures,
• Analyze market conditions or trends,
• Take a lead role in team-building, company culture.
