QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION


  • Graduated from departments of agriculture or veterinary faculties
  • Min. 5 year experience in animal nutrition and feed additives in the field Broiler
  • Able to make market researches and develop new strategies
  • Experienced in excellent use and management of CRM
  • Able to follow upcoming developments in technology and put them into practice
  • Having strong communication skills and customer-focus
  • Self-motivated, responsible and ambitious
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • English is an asset
  • Having no obstacle to travel (domestic/abroad)



Purpose of the Job

The Sales Manager professionally promotes and sells Trouw Nutrition products and services to existing and potential customers and establishes and maintains good relations at all levels. The Sales Representative contributes to, implements and realizes the sales/account plan for the assigned account/portfolio, acquires and retains (new / potential) accounts and builds and strengthens customer relations in order to realize Trouw Nutrition’s commercial objectives.





 Job Description


  • Executes the sales plan for the assigned product portfolio / area in accordance with the set objectives and targets in order to realize the sales plan and sales targets are achieved

  • Approaches and acquires new customers in a proactive manner through various means that may include direct visits, phone, references, in order to retain and grow the customer base according to expectations and to achieve the sales targets

  • Builds trust with new and existing customers by identifying their needs, providing advice and effective solutions to their needs, so that good customer service leads to further improvement of customer satisfaction and customer loyalty levels, and additional revenues and/or profitability

  • Coordinates, executes, maintains and / or improves various administrative sales processes and systems, in line with the applicable procedures to ensure an efficient and effective sales administration compliant with policies and regulations

  • Develops, maintains and expands a network of internal and external stakeholders

  • Builds own product and technical knowledge in relevant product categories. Measures, prepares and quotes customers based on his / her expertise and product knowledge
