Research & Development Intern

We are looking for part-time machine learning engineers who have an interest in working R&D projects with advanced Natural Language Processing (NLP) focus. You will take part in NLP and machine learning projects that are used in real world applications with real data. You will be expected to collect, annotate and work with these datasets and to assist our team of R&D engineers in various programming tasks. You will be working in a pro-active and dynamic software product development team who has experience in machine learning/deep learning.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a higher education degree  (Junior-Senior B.Sc. or M.Sc.) in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related fields
• Solid understanding in programming, algorithms and data structures
• Having an interest and basic understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP), Text Analytics and Machine Learning Algorithms
• Experience in an object-oriented programming language (Java, C/C++ etc.)
• Enjoys working in a team environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Having a good command of English
• Eager to learn and try new technologies
• Interested in following literature and state-of-the-art techniques and algorithms

Nice to Have:

• Experience with SQL or No-SQL databases
• General understanding of NLP algorithms & techniques such as Text Classification, Information Retrieval/Extraction, Question Answering, Topic Modelling etc.
• Experience in Linux/Unix operating system,
• Interest in a scientific/numeric programming language (Python, R etc.)
• Interest in full stack web development (JavaScript, Angular, jQuery, TypeScript, Html, CSS, etc.)
