QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Manage the company’s risk management process in order to drive proactive and effective risk management activities and ensure an integrated oversight over significant risks of all types with the purpose to protect the organization against risks that could interfere with its objectives and viability
  • Implement, manage and monitor internal control activities to achieve an efficient and effective internal controls system which is continuously improved
  • Coordinate with and report to global risk management and global internal controls functions
  • Assist the Global Internal Audit function with coordinating periodic audits of functions, departments and processes 
  • Assist and monitor the development and implementation of internal control improvements
  • Develop and provide ongoing guidance and training concepts
  • Cooperate with internal audit and external auditors

REQUIREMENTS

  • Master and/ or bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Internal controls or related areas
  • 3+ years of professional experience in a major public accounting firm, bank or insurance company with focus on risk management, internal controls and/ or internal audit
  • Experience with internal control and risk assessment frameworks 
  • Process-oriented and problem-solving attitude as well as strong organizational skills and hands-on mentality
  • Strong communication and social skills
  • Ability to function effectively in a dynamic, fast paced environment
  • Ability to work cooperatively with other internal departments and external service providers
  • Industry relevant experience is a strong advantage
