QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a "Process Engineer" for our global business partner operating in molten metal flow engineering and technology.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform process trouble shooting,
- Responsible for the daily production process operations,
- The training of new hire as well as current employees,
- Apply continuous improvement methods such as lean manufacturing to enhance manufacturing quality, reliability, or cost-effectiveness,
- Determine root causes of failures using statistical methods and recommend changes in designs, tolerances, or processing methods,
- Estimate costs, production times, or staffing requirements for new designs,
- Evaluate manufactured products according to specifications and quality standards,
- Incorporate new methods and processes to improve existing operations,
- Prepare documentation for new manufacturing processes or engineering procedures,
- Troubleshoot new or existing product problems involving designs, materials, or processes,
- Equipment calibration and maintenance monitoring,
- Performs all work in accordance with established Group safety regulations,
- Participate in health & safety and quality audit process,
- Oversee purchase and installation of machinery & equipment to ensure specifications are met,
- Control BOM accuracy,
- Support Plant Ergonomics program and initiatives,
- Make relevant cost studies regarding projects on hand gather quotations estimated resources,
- Monitor daily production output and perform necessary gap analyses.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Metallurgical & Material Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering,
- 2 years of experience in Production environment,
- Fluency in English,
- Good Computer knowledge (MS Office),
- Good communication skills,
- Ability to work well in team environment & motivate others within the team,
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, 5S, and Kaizen is a plus.
